Course Description :
Providing theoretical knowledge and filed training needed from social workers interested in working with medical settings, including the role of social workers in hospitals and in different medical centers. The course also includes; dealing with medical beliefs from a cultural perspective, which explains resorting to different kinds of folk medicine, unhealthy behavior, the doctor-patient interaction, and the relationship between members of the medical staff. Special emphasis is given to the topic of medical compliance.
